You guys, I had the BEST time at my Sip and Shop Blog Launch Party at Evereve! We drank almost the entire case of wine, spent more money than they do in sales on any given day, AND stayed an hour passed closing. I was so overwhelmed by the love (and maybe a little the wine) that I could barely get words out when I went to thank you all for coming out! I won’t get sappy on you again, but you have no idea how much your kind words, shares on social, and genuine enjoyment from my stories has meant to me in the very short time I’ve been doing this. I hope I can keep you entertained long enough that you’ll continue coming back for more!
For those of you who missed it, it was such a success I am going to continue to partner with Evereve in Maple Grove to do this on a seasonal basis, so stay tuned MN Friends! I have an idea for the next one that I think you are really going to like – promise!
Here’s a quick recap of the top sellers that night…
- Free People Lover Thermal
- Sorel Joan of Arctic Wedge (I recently bought these from the NSale – SO comfy!)
- B[AIR] Ankle Skinny Jeans
- Camo Jacket – KERSH and the Free People
- Sanctuary Cold shoulder Tee
- Saturday Love Pullover
- Private Practice Drape Front Blazer
- Dolce Vita Lana Booties
And here’s a recap of all the fun we had sipping and shoppping…
Sarah is one of the stylists at the Maple Grove store. She is such a doll and I owe all of this to her! After spending a couple hours shopping with her one day, we got to talking about the blog I had just started so I wrote down the link for her before I left. Several days later I got the sweetest note saying how much they all loved it and suggested hosting a blog launch party at their store! I am such a believer that people come into your life at the perfect time and this is just another example of that!
It may seem silly to some, but seeing my blog on display at one of my favorite stores was something beyond my wildest dreams! Special thanks to my dear friend Kim at KADdesignsforlove who created the logo for my blog!
We indulged….
These gorgeous macarons were donated by Amy’s Cupcake Shoppe in Hopkins, MN. She has made both of my boys birthday cakes the last several years. They always turn as beautiful as they are delicious!
If you haven’t tried Nothing Bundt Cakes, you are missing out! My mouth instantly waters when I see this image of their famous Bundtinis. Thank you to Bianca at the Maple Grove bakery for donating to the party and my waistline. I may or may not have had the leftovers for breakfast the next day…
We shopped, we laughed, and we had uninterrupted adult conversations…

Amy and Amy in our matching Free People Tennessee Dress. It was her first time shopping at Evereve and she most DEFINITELY did not leave empty handed!
My darling 87 year old grandma stayed to the bitter end and shared a few tears with me. She’s always been one of my biggest fans. I adore her and her love for fancy dresses and big hats!
My mother was so busy helping everyone she didn’t even shop for herself. That is her in a nutshell. This selfless woman is everything I aspire to be!
I love supporting other mom’s who are making time for themselves as they embark on building a career out of their passion, so I was thrilled when my friend Amy Hughes Photography offered to photograph the event! She did an amazing job capturing the spirit of the evening.
We gave away some pretty great prizes…
A special thanks goes out to the following businesses for their generous donations:
- BEE-OCH Organics a USDA Certified Organic Personal Care Product Line based out of Colorado. When I was introduced to the founder by a mutual friend I was immediately sold on the name and adorable packaging! I loved the gift bag they put together for the drawing so much I requested one for myself! I’m most excited to try their organic lavender deodorant for only $14 a bottle. Use code ToWitToWoo for 25% off through 8/31/16!
- The Woodhouse Day Spa recently opened a location at the Shoppes of Arbor Lakes and donated two gift cards to be used on any services. I peeked my head in briefly and it looked and smelled like heaven! Amy Adams is the owner and has been such a delight to partner with that we decided we need to plan a Sip and Spa day so more info to come there!
- Millennium Dance Company located in Albertville, MN offers classes ages 18 months through adult, ranging in styles from ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. The dance studio is owned and operated by my extremely talented sister-in-law who I am so proud of for finally living out her dream after making quite the name for herself in the dance community! I have ZERO rhythm so I was tempted to keep the one month free tuition for myself, but I’m a hopeless cause so I decided it would be better suited for someone with a tiny dancer at home.
We ugly cried…
When I called everyone’s attention to say a little something, I looked around and saw a store full of some of my favorite people and straight up ugly cried! And then I noticed a few others crying and it made me cry even harder! I have the most supportive friends, ya’ll!
And that’s a wrap! Let’s do that again soon, shall we?
XO!
