This was a total impulse snag at the end of the night just shortly after the kitchen dance party started. The wine made me do it. Apparently Nicole and I share a love for sauvignon blanc. I introduced her to the hubs the next morning and he loved her, too. She just fits me. I got my eye on her though, she looks like trouble…
This is her in her most basic form. When a dress lays just right, sometimes you don’t need much else. Size small for reference.
Earrings: JCrew – old, similar idea here. In keeping with the floral theme, I also love these and these.
Block Heeled Sandals: Nine West from Evereve (this heel is the perfect shoe for an outdoor wedding or backyard bash.)
Watch: Michael Kors Bradshaw (The hubs gave me this watch as a push gift when Deklan was born 3 1/2 years ago. I’ve worn it almost every day since. It’s a staple.)
Wear this look now and then add navy tights or LuLaRoe leggings and wear it into the Fall.
Scarf: Lululemon Vinyasa
Ankle Booties: Frye ‘Marissa Short’ also love the Jenny Shield or the Regina Wedge (The quality and comfort of Frye boots are worth every penny. I’m a bargain shopper though so I always go to 6pm.com first as they have a great selection.)
You fancy, huh?
Fur Vest: Betsey Johnson – old, similar here and here (both under $50!)
Crystal Necklace: JCrew Factory – old, I like this sparkler or this chunky bib one
Heels: Enzo Angiolini – old, same color here
Scarf: Green Bandana (the cheapest “on trend” accessory you can find right now is a bandana!)
Fringe Sandals: Dolce Vita ‘Noel’
Arm Stack: Alex and Ani ‘Marigold’ bangle; cuff bracelet similar here (part of the proceeds go towards ending hunger so you can feel good about that!) and for less here or the timeless Tory Burch version here; then add a little sparkle with this crystal bracelet (currently 40% off!)
You’ve probably noticed by now that I’ve been playing it pretty safe with the LuLa prints. Baby steps. I did eventually try on a pair of their signature wild print leggings and I kind of loved them. You’ll see what I mean soon. Oh heyyy, Fall!

Love your styling- try the Nicole backwards- love the boat neck–
Thank you, Brigette! I would never have thought to wear it backwards so I will definitely give that a try!
Works for the Amelia, too. I’ll have to try flipping my Nicole!
I’m new to LuLaRoe, what size would you normally wear in a dress? Thanks!
Hi Erin! I’m normally a 4 or small in dresses. Sometimes medium depending on the bust line. Hope that helps!
