LuLaRoe Perfect Tee Styled 4 Ways

LulaRoe Perfect Tee

The only thing more fun than shopping, is shopping while drinking. At a friend’s house. On a random Wednesday. Until 1:00 am. If you follow me on Snapchat, you played witness. If you saw me in the office on Thursday, you played witness to the aftermath. Happy Hump Day, Ya’ll!

Here’s what I learned that night:

  1. LuLaRoe is so much more than just bright blue leggings with red turtles printed on them.
  2. I’m actually kind of into the turtle leggings, when styled right.
  3. This new weekly shopping budget the hubs and I agreed on, isn’t so agreeable anymore.

Somehow I ended up walking away with a little bit of dignity left, 4 really fun pieces, endless styling options, and $25 over budget (the leggings were totally worth it though). Here’s the 1st of a  4 post series modeling my new garb to inspire all you LuLaRoe addicts out there. You know who you are. For everyone else, go to my gal Rauha Herritz’s LuLaRoe FB page to learn more about the brand and find out when her next online pop-up shop is going to be – you’ll want to attend.

Meet the Perfect Tee. You can take this basic bia anywhere and she’ll fit in perfectly – hence the name. Size S for reference; although I probably would have gone with an XS if they had it in this print. That’s the thing about LuLaRoe, they only make so many pieces in a print and then she gone!

IMG_3485 Jeans: Hudson Mia Flares

Red Bandana (Deklan asked, “What’s on your neck, Mama? You’re going to choke.” He’s so practical, just like his father.)

Shoes: Steve Madden Leopard Sandals – old but similar here (I like to wear a thick stacked high heel with these jeans in an open or almond toe. They give you legs for days. Big fan of the dramatic flares.)

Arrow Necklace: Stella and Dot

Arm Stack: Michael Kors Bradshaw Watch and similar link bracelet here for only $19.50

LulaRoe Perfect TeePants: JCrew Teddie Pant in Dusty Pink (lots of fun colors and currently on sale!)

Flats: Banana Republic – old but love these tassle ones or these tassle ones

Earrings: JCrew – old but similar here or here or here

Bracelets: Alex and Ani, JCrew Factory, and an old cuff bracelet. Love this Kate Spade one (part of #NSale!)

The shirt has side slits so I took the two front corners and tied them together in the middle (as shown in the pic with the pink pants). Then I took the corners from the back half of the shirt that were hanging down at my side and tied them in the middle just under where I had tied the other knot. You follow?

Skirt: Express – old but similar here in lots of fun colors. You could also replicate this look with the LulaRoe Cassie Pencil Skirt. All the ones in my size got snagged up at the party or I would have totally bought one.

Shoes: Nordstrom Rack – sold out but similar here (40% off through the 8th!)

Collar Necklace: similar here for $14.99 (have you noticed how much I wear this necklace? It’s perfect when you need just a little something something. It also highlights your collarbone which is one of the sexiest parts of a women’s body. But you already knew that.)

Next up on the blog the Carly styled 6 ways – SIX! Stay tuned, Ladies!

Also, can we talk about my new mom do quick? The last time I chopped it I cried for a month and swore I’d never do it again, but here I am surprsingly digging it! It’s super low maintenance just like yours truly ;).

XO!

    1. Aren’t you a doll! The only thing I love more than shopping for myself is shopping for others so I will go with you any time, girl! LOL.

    1. Oh man. I’m awful at explaining how I do something! LOL. I’ll try though 🙂 Basically, I grabbed a section of the tee making sure to include fabric from both sides of the split. The key is to hold it as close to your body as you can so that you have more fabric to work with. With the handful of fabric in my left hand I use my right to wrap it around my knuckles and then loop it through the middle. Once it’s knotted in place I pull the fabric from above the knot (not the tail sticking out from the center of the knot) in order to loosen it until it’s positioned just where I want it! Helpful? I get asked questions like this quite a bit so I’m working on doing more video tutorials. Stay tuned 😉

      1. Thank you for explaining! I just got a perfect this last week and was trying to figure out different ways to wear it. I LOVE that first look and the last one a lot!
